HOLY-wood Records CEO/Recording Artist, Prodigal Son is releasing on September 10th 2010 one of six new mixtapes, “HOLY-wood Records presents: The New Era Mixtape 90’z Edition.” The new project features several hit songs from back in the 1990’s with a new twist on the lyrics. The 33 minute epic mixed by none-other than DJ PK(Florida WMBM 1490) and DJ Sykes(Rick Ross, Trick Daddy, Trina) and features the entire HOLY-wood Records roster, Prodigal Son, A.T.I.C., Vell-P, S.O.S., D’Merit, and K-Robinson. HOLY-wood Records CEO/Recording Artist, Prodigal Son had this to say about the project, “We just wanted to bring something new to these classic 90’s tracks and to give fans a taste of what they are going to be hearing from HOLY-wood Records artists in 2011. We want fans to familiarize themselves to the vocal styling’s of each artist so that it builds excitement for the upcoming projects in the future.”
Prodigal Son has been extremely busy since debuting on the Billboard Charts a few weeks ago hitting #56 on the Overall Christian Charts and #21 on the Gospel Charts. In addition to touring and creating a buzz with his new project, “Kingdom Swagga-Nomics: The New Era” Prodigal Son will have a brand new track featured on the upcoming, “Rap Fest presents III Christmas 2010” which will be a free download compilation available on Christmas Day 2010. Also, Prodigal Son is co-starring in a new movie out now called, “Hidden Rage;” the movie premiere was on July 23rd at Flagship Cinemas in Homestead, FL the next showing of the movie is going to be on September 13th at Cinema Paradiso in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
HOLY-wood Records first release, Prodigal Son “Kingdom Swagga-Nomics: The New Era” is now available at online retailers such as Itunes, CD Baby, Best Buy, Amazon.com plus many more. The first single, “Super-Star” is getting radio airplay throughout the country and a music video is in the works.
